Homemade Frozen Pizzas

Servings 3 12-16 inch pizzas

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 tbsp instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 c warm water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 5-6 cups flour
  • Desired toppings

Instructions
 

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook attachment, combine all ingredients, starting with 5 cups of flour. Continue adding flour 1/4 c at a time, until dough cleans the side of the bowl. Knead in mixer on low for 5 minutes.
  • Tip dough into a lightly greased bowl and allow to rise until doubled, 1-2 hours.
  • Divide dough into 3 equal pieces. On a clean and floured surface, roll out pieces to to roughly 15 inch circles. Place a prepared cardboard cut out on top of dough. Slide hand under the dough and flip the dough and cardboard over. Stretch dough to fit circle.
  • Top with pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings. Or other variations, like BBQ sauce, mozzarella, chicken, red onion. Alfredo sauce, cheese, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, spinach. Whatever you like!
  • Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and freeze overnight. After they are frozen, you can store them vertically. Can be frozen for 2-3 months.
  • To bake: Preheat oven to 425. When oven is hot, take pizza from the oven and place on a cookie sheet or pizza stone. Bake until crust is browned and cheese is bubbly, between 18-25 minutes.
