Super Fast Style: Foolproof Messy Bun

September 11, 2019 by amyreeves24@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Why do some of the simplest hairstyles end up being the most frustrating sometimes? I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve tried to quickly toss my hair into a bun, only to redo it 300 times because it turns out funky. It’s too loose or too tight or too big or too small.

Very frequently, I use this messy bun trick to get a quick and easy messy bun. But sometimes I want my bun to be a little bit cleaner and a little less of a mess on the top of my head.

Enter this Foolproof Messy Bun. It could not be simpler. It turns out cute every time, helps thin hair look fuller, and creates a cute, loopy messy bun that I just love! Love live the messy bun; the hero of moms and busy women everywhere.

Tools needed:

Texture spray (my favorite and a cheap option)

Hair ties

Step 1: Put your hair into a high ponytail. Spray with texture spray.

Step 2: Braid your ponytail. Hold the end of the braid in one hand.

Step 3: Pull out the braid to make big loops. Twist around the base of your ponytail and secure in the elastic or with a bobby pin. Fluff and arrange to your liking, and you’re done!
