Strawberry Watermelon Slushie

July 12, 2019 by amyreeves24@gmail.com Leave a Comment

The perfect summer drink! Simple, delicious, and refreshing!

Watermelon is one of my favorite parts of the summer months! I buy one almost every time we go to the grocery store. My 4 year old will eat his body weight in watermelon. Most of the time, just my little family can demolish a watermelon, no problem.

But sometimes a bowl of watermelon sits around in the fridge for a couple of days, and I find myself trying to eat watermelon with every meal so it won’t go bad.

This is a much more delicious solution, and absolutely perfect for leftover watermelon, or even a watermelon with a little bit of an “off” texture.

Just 4 ingredients transform into the most delicious and refreshing summer drink. I made 3 batches in a row to appease the bottomless beverage pits of my family and my neighbors. We all just couldn’t get enough!

If you happen to have any left, pour the mixture into popsicle molds for super delicious Watermelon Strawberry popsicles! They are awesome.
